I am a lecturer, a teacher, a designer --

My goal is to find the best way to share with the public the ongoing efforts of Chumash people to preserve, enhance and enjoy our traditional culture.
I explore topics of language, plant knowledge, maritime skills, family, and ocean/land stewardship. My lectures, teaching and consulting have enriched many venues:

National Geographic: “Oceans For Life”
